I absolutely love CATS, as i played Victoria (white lead dancing cat) for a season. It was the time of my life.
Some of my other favorites are Phantom of the Opera, Rent, West Side Story, Annie, Annie Get Your Gun, and Chicago.
I must say you have great taste!
Anything by Sondheim, but particularly Sweeney Todd and Company. I also enjoy the off-broadway shows like the Last 5 Years, Grey Garden’s etc. Basically anything that isn’t commercial dross rolled out for the culturally barren tourist trade.
same as you but add les miserables
)
My favorites are Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Jekyll and Hyde, Into the Woods, and The Secret Garden. But there are many more that I love!
i loooove phantom of the opera, also i like
“rent”
“fiddler on the roof”,
“the woman in white”
“i love you, your perfect…now change”
“HONK”(its fun to be in!)
“wicked”
“sweeney todd”(when i’m feeling in a dark and eery mood) definately “west side story”
cats is ok, but not my fav.(thats just my opinion though, dont take it personally)
the director i work w/ here is really a good writer, and she wrote a play called “medora”. it took nine years, but its really good. and really fun to be apart of.
i can think of a million best musicals, but i cant write them all down, so i’ll make best w/ that.
Does Hairspray count???
Well anyways…hairspray is my favourite PERFORANCE ever!…..
I Also love the popular Phantom of the opera, not to pleased with cats(not into it to much!) I Love Joesph and the amazing technicolour coat but not a fan of andrew llyod weber!
Also This is a rare broadway but i love it…
It the rockettes (christmas) only played in toronto! @ chrsitmas time!
I Traveled about 19 hours just to see that and its definately onbe of my favs!
Phantom of the Opera, RENT, Aida, Jesus Christ Superstar. I love anything by Andrew Lloyd Webber and anything written by Elton John and Tim Rice. Aida is my absolute favorite Broadway musical. Because I liked it so much, I went and saw the Lion King (also Elton John and Tim Rice) and was suprised by how I much I enjoyed it. I thought that it would be very Disney-ish and exactly the same as the movie, but it wasn’t. They did a very good job on it. Wicked was also amazing!
Phantom would be a great one, I never really liked Cats too much. My all time favorite (even though it’s very contemporary) is Mama Mia.
Add Ragtime to the list and Wicked.
