Blood Simple was a mature film.
Blade Runner was.
None of these films had 1 dimensional characters. Watchmen was a fairly mature film.

The whole point of Watchmen is that there were no villains or heroes.
The whole point of that INSIPID film The Dark Knight is that the world is black and white, good or bad. It’s an infantile view of the world. It was such a dumb childish film I can’t believe how many people are raving about it.

I watched it before reading the comic, though from what my Dad says who was a big fan of the comic when it first came out it kept pretty close to the story. I personally LOVED the movie, and thought it was brilliant.

@soadratmetc Untrue. The soundtrack was good. It also had one of the most artistically brilliant opening credit sequences ever. And Rorschach was awesome. Other than that, yeah it sucked.
I guess so,.. i know the comic is widely available now, ive seen it lying around a few times now, but wasnt impressed by the artwork.
I guess i’m a bit spoiled with comics as Dawn and Aria Angela, and i got a thing for female leads, so a group of guys usually turns me off. Especially if their wearing spandex or walking around half naked most of the time.
But thats just me i guess.
