Um, you do realize that you can’t just pick up and live anywhere you want to in the world, right?

I mean, if you’re Australian, you can’t just move to New York City if you’re in the mood to do so, and, conversely, if you’re American, you can’t just pick up and move to Sydney any time you want.

In other words, you would have to apply for residency, and get a visa, and a work permit, and prove that you’ll be a benefit to society, and prove that you have a job waiting for you, etc., etc., etc.

So, Manhattan vs. Sydney is a moot point, really. If you’re Australian, move to Sydney, or, if you’re American, move to New York City (if you think you can afford to), case closed.

    Good luck!… ☺

Manhattan… Lived their my whole life and i LOVE it. Theres always something to do or something going on. You’re never bored and it’s beautiful at night and Christmas time.

For what, to live, visit, send an ex for permanent exile, what? If the question is where would I rather live, it would have to be Sydney, as long as I could take my precious love from Port Jefferson Station, Long Island NY with me (I’m sure they need chiropractors in Sydney as well). I’ve been to NYC, it’s too big, too crowded, it smells, the majority of the people seem to be very rude, and I hate winter and snow. The weather in Sydney is so much better, and it’s much easier to get away.

It is really my desire to live in Sydney that is because Sydney has a reputation as an international center for commerce, arts, fashion, culture, entertainment, music, education and tourism.
