for delivery of postal mails. Queens is not structured on the lines of a
grid like Manhattan, but the area is divided into few blocks. There are
streets and avenues connecting the blocks to each other. The streets run
from north to south, and the numbers go up higher as one goes further east.
Avenues run from east to west, and the numbers get higher as one goes
south. Avenues run side by side with roads and drives here, so one may find
that 65th Avenue, 65th Drive, 65th Road, run parallel to each other.
